If you had trouble with the automatic installation process, then don’t worry…
\nWe can get you all set up with a manual installation. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

If you are not able to install the BTMA Stock Spreadsheet software, then you may need to change your permissions to “administrative rights” during installation.<\/p>\n

This software requires a folder to be saved directly in the C:\\ drive. If you do not have permission to save here, then you will need to change your permission rights or have your tech person temporarily change them for you. (If you’re not sure what your permissions are, then it’s best to try the steps below first. If you’re not able to save files directly onto the C:\\, then you will probably need to change your permissions.)<\/p>\n

MANUAL INSTALL DIRECTIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Download this zipped folder —–>SMF<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

2. Unzip the folder.<\/strong><\/p>\n

3. Place the unzipped folder into the C:\\<\/strong><\/p>\n

The location should look like this —-> C:\\SMF
\n*Note: If you can’t copy the SMF folder onto the C:\\, then try to cut and paste the SMF folder into the C:\\ (it sometimes works.)<\/p>\n

4. After placing the SMF folder into the C:\\\u00a0 (You MUST do that first.)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Open the SMF folder.
\nOpen the file called —> BTMA Installer File.xlsm<\/p>\n

5. Follow the instructions on the BTMA Installer File to successful completion.<\/strong><\/p>\n

6. Create a new folder in the\u00a0Documents (or My Documents)\u00a0folder.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The new folder should be called—-> Beat_The_Market_Analyzer<\/p>\n

The folder location should look like —-> C:\\Users\\Username\\Documents\\Beat_The_Market_Analyzer<\/p>\n

*Note: Depending on your version of Windows, the folder may be called “Documents” or “My Documents”.<\/p>\n

7. Email Grant to ask for a Manual Analyzer File.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Grant@BeatTheMarketAnalyzer.com
\nPlease include your full name, date of purchase, type of Analyzer (6 month, 1 year, 2 years).<\/p>\n

8. After you receive the Analyzer file, please place it in the “Beat_The_Market_Analyzer” folder that you created.<\/strong><\/p>\n
