One thing to keep in mind is that there is no absolute right or wrong when it comes to investing in companies.
There is always risk and you can only hope to reduce your risk as much as possible.

Even if you bought the safest company in the world that had the best track record for over 100 years, there is always the risk that the company could fail in the near future. It is highly unlikely, but the chance of risk is there.
So could you say that it was right or wrong to invest in this company?

Instead of asking this question, it is more practical to invest in companies that you personally know of and can understand. Have you used the products or services of this company? Do you know the quality and reputation of this company? Do you have a basic understanding of the business model?

This is how I approach investing.
I believe that each investor must invest in the safest way possible for themselves while preparing for a worse-case scenario. Each investor should buy investments that match them personally and companies that they know of and understand.

I hope this answers your question.
