Welcome to my September 2013 Stock Gain & Loss Report!
Every month I will post my stock gains and losses.
I also took a break from investing in September.
With the pending US Government Shutdown, I was waiting to see if the market would fall.
Towards the end of the month, the US Government did shut down, and stock prices fell a bit.
During this time, I purchased a bundle of shares at bargain prices.
Every once in a while, there will be some lurking problem that will cause an overall reduction in market prices.
If you’re patient during these times and sit back to wait for the market to fall, you can be lucky enough to get some great deals.That’s what happened in my case.
I’m not able to accurately predict the ups and downs of the market and I don’t believe anybody can.
But there are certain times when you can make a pretty good educated guess.
From this point forward, I’ll again sit patiently and wait for the market to recover…
and when it does, I’ll gladly sell for a nice profit.

Why do I post this information online?
I do it for 3 main reasons:
1. To be transparent.
I like to be up-front and show you that I’m a real person who actually invests in the stock market.
2. It’s nice to brag about good months and get positive feedback during those not-so-good months.
3. I hate being told that I can’t do something and stock investing is just another area where people have told me: “You couldn’t possibly do well. What do you know about stocks?” etc.
I want to prove that everyday people like myself can take control of their own finances, start investing with a common-sense approach, and produce better than average results.
